Community Tree Nursery Program 2024 -2025
Hello Everyone!
We are pleased to announce that the annual Community Tree Nursery Program will open on September 1st! Applications will be accepted from September 1st – October 15th, 2024. The WIWD will be covering the first $80.00 of tree seedlings per household this year.
The WIWD will also be running a pilot project for a secondary tree program for spring plantings. In addition to the $80.00 subsidy for trees from Sabados Greenhouse, the WIWD will be offering a $80.00 rebate to residents who purchase trees through TreeTime.ca
Step 1: Order your trees from TreeTime.ca in November 2024
- There is a wide selection of varieties to choose from, with lots of fruiting varieties available
- You choose your delivery date, and your order is shipped directly to you (or your P.O. box) in the spring of 2025
Step 2: Wait for your trees to arrive….
Step 3: Plant your trees!
Step 4: Fill out the TreeTime Rebate form. Submit your completed Rebate form, along with a copy of the deliver slip that comes with your order, to the WIWD office via mail, fax, email or in-person.
*Rebate forms will not be available till next spring
As always, programming is only offered to residents within the WIWD boundaries. We encourage residents to call us ahead of time if they are unsure if they reside within our boundaries.
