Watershed Districts

As of April 2024 the Rural Municipality of Portage la Prairie has joined a total of 4 Watershed Districts.
More information about each district and funding that is available can be found by clicking the links below.  

White Mud Watershed District 
         Rat Creek Sub-District (Ward 4)

Central Assiniboine Watershed District 
         Lower Assiniboine River Sub-District (Ward 4 & 5)

Redboine Watershed District 
          Assiniboine/Sturgeon Sub-District (Ward 1, 2, 6 & 7)
          La Salle River Sub-District (Ward 1, 2, 3 & 4)

West Interlake Watershed District 
          Lake Francis Sub-District (Ward 1, 2, 3, & 4)
